Design Details and Benefits
- Plaid on the pocket, not only on the tie - stops the shirt looking like a plain white blouse you then had to dress up
- Plaid cuff trim - gives the sleeve an edge, so the costume does not fade out the moment you leave the collar
The pocket trim is the reason to pick this over a plain white shirt with a cheap tie. Most uniform sets dump all the pattern onto the necktie and leave the shirt blank, so the whole thing falls apart the second the tie sits crooked. Putting the same plaid on the pocket and the cuffs means the shirt still reads as the costume even if the tie shifts. It's listed as a three-piece with a matching skirt, and our photo is cropped at the chest, so we're going by what's listed rather than something we've seen ourselves. If you want a one-piece with the skirt sewn on, this isn't that costume.
