HASSLE-FREE RETURNS AT LINGERIE HUT
At Lingerie Hut, your satisfaction is our top priority. We understand that sometimes a purchase may not meet your expectations. Our return policy is designed to provide clarity and protect both our customers and the business.
30-DAY RETURN WINDOW
You have 30 days from the date of receiving your item to initiate a return for a full refund. We want you to shop confidently and feel secure in your purchase decisions.
TO START A RETURN
- Contact Us: Notify us of your wish to return an item by emailing returns@lingeriehut.co.uk or by filling out the return request form on our Returns & Refunds page. Returns initiated without prior approval will not be accepted.
- Approval and Instructions: Once your request is approved, we will provide you with return instructions, including the recommended shipping methods.
- Secure Shipping: Ship the item back using a trackable shipping service. Returns sent without tracking will be considered at the customer's risk, and Lingerie Hut cannot process refunds for untraceable returns.
RETURN ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
For your return to be accepted, the item must meet the following conditions:
- Be in the same condition as received: unworn or unused, with tags intact, and in its original packaging.
- Be accompanied by a receipt or proof of purchase.
- Non-returnable items include perishable goods, custom or personalized products, personal care items, and hazardous materials.
Lingerie Hut reserves the right to inspect and determine whether a returned item meets the eligibility criteria.
Returns and Restocking Fee Policy
At Lingerie Hut, we strive to ensure complete satisfaction with your purchases. However, if you wish to return an item that meets our return eligibility, please note the following guidelines regarding restocking fees.
Restocking Fees for Non-Defective Items
For items returned in a condition that meets our return policy but are not defective, a restocking fee of 15% to 20% of the item's price will be applied. This fee helps cover the costs associated with processing returns, inspecting items, and preparing them for resale. The exact percentage will depend on the condition of the returned item upon inspection. Here’s how it works:
- 15% Restocking Fee: Applies to items returned in original packaging, unused, and in near-perfect condition.
- Up to 20% Restocking Fee: Applies to items that show minimal signs of wear or handling but are still resalable.
Important Details:
- Restocking fees are applied at the time of refund and will be deducted from the refund total.
- This restocking fee does not apply to items returned due to defects or items that do not meet their described condition, as outlined in our defective goods return policy.
- The fee also covers the costs of repackaging, inspection, and any loss in product value from handling.
Please note, customized or personal care items remain non-refundable, as per our general returns policy.
We aim to process returns quickly, and refunds, less any applicable restocking fee, will be processed within 3-5 business days of receiving the return.
RETURN SHIPPING COSTS AND REIMBURSEMENT
- For Paid Shipping Orders: You are responsible for paying return shipping costs upfront. Reimbursement of these costs is subject to review and approval by our team. To be eligible, customers must use a shipping service approved by Lingerie Hut and submit a receipt for review. Reimbursements will be capped based on standard return shipping rates.
- For Free Shipping Orders: Customers are responsible for covering their own return shipping costs, which are non-reimbursable.
We strongly recommend using Royal Mail 48 Tracking or an equivalent reputable service for all returns.
RETURNS PROCESSING AND REFUNDS
Upon receiving and inspecting your return, we will notify you of the status within two business days. If approved, we will process the refund to your original payment method within forty-eight hours. Please note that the refund's appearance in your account depends on your bank's processing times.
REPORTING DAMAGES AND ISSUES
Customers must inspect their order upon reception. If you receive a damaged, defective, or incorrect item, you have five business days from the delivery date to report the issue to returns@lingeriehut.co.uk. We will assess the situation promptly and provide the necessary steps to resolve the problem.
RETURNS AT YOUR RISK
Lingerie Hut cannot be held responsible for items lost or damaged during transit. All returns must be shipped using secure packaging and include a valid tracking number to be eligible for refunds. Without proof of delivery and tracking, refunds will not be processed.
EXCHANGE POLICY
To exchange an item, please initiate a return following the above steps. Once the return is approved, make a new purchase for the desired item. This ensures that your new item is quickly and securely delivered.
