Design Details and Benefits
- Two lacing panels on the bodice - break up a block of lace that would otherwise sit flat through the middle
- Scalloped edge on the ruffle - stops the hem looking chopped, which is what a plain cut does on a short teddy
The front lacing is the reason to pick this lace teddy over a plain one-piece. Most teddies in this shape leave the middle as one panel, so the waist disappears unless you add a belt. Here the ribbons cross and tie at the waist, so you get a defined middle from the garment itself. Worth knowing before you order: the attached skirt is short and flared, not a long hem, so if you want more coverage at the thigh this isn't the one. The straps look like they sit in a fixed place, so treat the size you order as the fit you'll get.
