The embroidery is the whole point. A plain white mesh set would look unfinished; packing flowers onto the cup and the thong front makes it a piece you put on for the stitch. It is still sheer around the flowers. Worth knowing: the thong is string-cut and the cups are unlined in what we can see, so this is not everyday opaque coverage. If you want a full brief or a solid cup, look elsewhere.
