The lace is doing more work than it looks. A plain vinyl crop and mini can feel like two separate shiny pieces; putting lace on the bust, the cuffs and the hem ties them together and pulls the set towards lingerie. The crosses and the little cap finish the nurse brief in small moves, so you are not relying on colour alone. Worth knowing: this is a crop and a mini, so the waist stays fully open. If you want a one-piece tunic with a zip front, look at a different set.
