Design Details and Benefits
- One sleeve instead of two - the asymmetry is the whole point of the neckline
- Slit in a column gown - you can walk in a close sequin skirt
- Drape at the hip - the extra panel stops the column looking like a tube
The one-shoulder cut is the reason to pick this over a strapless sequin column. You get a sleeve on one side and a clear line on the other, so the gown has a direction. The slit is the second move - a floor-length sequin skirt without an opening is hard to walk in. Worth knowing: shoes and earrings in a shot are styling, not in the box, and the fit is close through the hip. If you want two sleeves or a short hem, this isn't the one.
