- Centre ring on the top - gives the halter a join instead of a plain knot
- Contrast ruffle on the hem - the skirt doesn't end in a hard line
- Ties at both sides of the skirt - you set how close it wraps
The ruffle hem is what separates this from a basic wrap. A plain dotted skirt would look like a tube. Adding a sheer pleated border makes the mini feel finished for a walk to dinner, while the bikini stays underneath. The ruffle is sheer, so it's a trim not a lining, and you'll see through that border. If you want a long, opaque cover-up this isn't the one.
