The slit is not a slash for its own sake. The drawstring at the thigh lets the opening sit where you put it, and the ruching above it stays in horizontal folds.
The pearls are close-set and vertical, so they catch as columns rather than a scatter. The skirt ruching runs the other way, horizontal, which is why the two pieces do not cancel each other.
The top is a triangle with a gathered band under the bust. The skirt is high-waisted, close, and ankle-length, with heavy horizontal ruching and a high slit on one leg.
The cloth is nylon with a matte surface. The colour in the photograph is a solid bright red from the cups to the hem.

The straps in the photos appear adjustable but aren’t, simply little metal details that move. Had the straps been adjustable it would have been possible to fix them sagging as too loose for the bodysuit.
Very poor quality. Two strap attachments were made of brittle plastic and broken on delivery. The other strap wasn’t even sewed on.
Neck strap was impossibly long so the bust of the dress came to just above my waist.
I wore it for a few days before coming to evaluate it. The fabric of the dress is good and comfortable to wear.

This product fits very well doesn't fold or bunch at the chest near the arm openings like so many shirts and dresses do now days from poor pattern cut and formulation. Being a sketchy knit it gives with you but isn't scratchy and the , but it's comfortable enough you can wear it around town to do errands and be comfortable and not dressed, just a little extra pretty that day.
