Design Details and Benefits
- Cut-out waist construction - a fitted dress shape with negative space built in, rather than a separate two-piece
- Side slit at the hem - opens up the fitted skirt for movement without changing the silhouette
The cut-outs are what make this read as a dress first and a costume second. Most nurse costumes are built as an obvious two-piece or a boxy uniform shape, but this one is cut with a fitted bodycon silhouette and negative space at the waist, so it looks considered even before you factor in the theme. Worth knowing before you order: the halter neckline and open sides mean there's very little coverage through the middle, so if you want a fuller-coverage costume, this runs more revealing than that.
