Design Details and Benefits
- Sheer mesh overlay with structured cups underneath - keeps the bust properly shaped even though the fabric on top is sheer
- Lace apron patch set at an angle across the front - reads as an actual apron detail rather than a flat printed graphic
The lace apron patch is doing the job a printed-on shape usually fails at. Because it's a separate layer of fabric rather than ink on the gingham check, it actually catches shadow and sits slightly proud of the base, which is what sells the maid idea at a glance rather than just hinting at it. The trade-off is coverage: the mesh overlay is sheer through the torso above the apron patch, so this reads as a piece you'd wear under something sheer or keep for indoors, not one you'd wear out on its own. The garter straps have visible clip hardware at the ends, ready to attach to your own hold-ups.
