Design Details and Benefits
- Contrast piping on the V - the dark edge is what stops the neckline looking unfinished
- Double straps - the hold sits as two lines, not one skinny strap
- Midi instead of maxi - the hem stays off the floor, which is how you actually walk in it
The dark piping is the reason to order. A plain cream slip can look like nightwear you already own; running a contrast edge down the V is what makes it a dress. The double straps do the same job on the shoulder. It's listed with an open back and our photo is front facing, so we're going by what's listed there rather than something we've seen ourselves. Worth knowing: the cut is close through the hip. If you want a full gown or a loose shirt dress, this isn't the one.
