Design Details and Benefits
- Wrap V rather than a round neck - lets the knit sit close at the shoulder while the chest stays open
- Long sleeve on a maxi - you can wear it when the air cools without adding a jacket at once
- High split in a narrow skirt - the walk stays possible in a column with little ease
The split is the practical bit, and the wrap is the look. A ribbed column with no opening at the leg is hard to walk in; cutting a high split on one side solves that without adding flare. The wrap V is what stops it looking like a polo-neck knit dress. Worth knowing: it's close through the body, so if you want room through the hip this isn't the one. Coverage is full at the sleeve and hem, low at the V and through the split.
