The scale of the print is what makes this floral mini dress work. A tiny rose repeat can look cheap once it is stretched on a close cut. These larger blue flowers sit on a white ground so you can actually see them, even at a distance. The deep V then opens the front, which is why the straps stay slim. The photo is front-facing, so we cannot speak for the back. The hem is short and the neckline is low, so if you want a covered day dress this isn't the one.
